At Covenant Life Community Church, we enjoy having the opportunity to offer an additional time of biblical teaching before the Sunday worship service. This event known as "Sunday School" takes place during the months of October through May each year and starts promptly at 9:30 a.m.
The setting for Sunday school is a classroom environment where students of all ages are encouraged to participate through listening, asking questions, and participating in group discussions. Small homework assignments are also given so that parents have materials to follow-up with their children regarding what they've learned in class.
Adults and youth (ages 13+) are combined into a single Sunday school class. This parallels our Pursue 2:22 Youth Group structure and fosters greater communication between parents and their children. Parents are encouraged to attend with their youth and then discuss the materials covered throughout the week.
Five age-appropriate classes are offered each Sunday:
Sunday school is broken up into several sessions through the months of October to May. Each session spans approximately 5-8 weeks with a 2-week break between sessions.
Session #1 of our 2019-2020 year begins on October 6, when we will studying the topic of "The Armor of God" as taught by Paul in Ephesians 6:10-20.
