Holding firm that whatever we do, we do all to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31), we believe it is our great privilege and joyful duty to nurture and instruct those children God has entrusted to our care. We believe that the primary stewardship belongs to parents and nothing we do should ever replace or compete with their godly instruction. Rather, we aim to equip and encourage parents towards their God-given responsibility.
Also, considering that there are times when parents themselves are receiving instruction, we endeavor to use the time wisely with age-appropriate instruction so that the whole body is edified and built-up. In all this we strive to never lose sight of the precious little souls of our children, and we take great pleasure in using God’s gifting for the directing of their hearts toward the cross of Christ. May He receive all the praise and glory through our humble efforts.
Covenant Life Community Church provides a nursery for infants and children ages 0-2 during the preaching portion of the Sunday worship service and during Sunday school. The nursery is staffed by at least two adult women and one older girl (i.e. helper). We strive to provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for these little ones so that parents can concentrate on the Word preached and taught without distraction.
A Junior Church is provided for ages 3-5 during the preaching portion of the Sunday worship service. It is up to each family whether they choose to take advantage of this ministry or keep their child with them. During this time, children are taught God's Word from a curriculum provided by Children Desiring God Ministries.
